Meet your host!  Laura McKenna is a dynamic, moving, and high-energy presenter.  She is driven to help high-performing women experience the exuberant, optimal energy you need to feel fully present, be optimally productive, and live your purpose!

A West Point graduate, former Army Officer and Veteran, Laura has over 20 years of experience leading high-performing people and organizations, teaching, coaching, and speaking.

This is a current outline of the agenda and is subject to change as we get closer to the Retreat.

DAY 1: Welcome! Arrival at The Hilton, Sedona AZ

Arrive Friday afternoon between 3:00 pm & 5:15 pm at hotel lobby/designated check-in area

  • Check-in and welcome
  • Happy hour starts at 3pm for those arriving early
  • Official check-in to your rooms is at 4pm

On Friday evening we will all meet in the designated dinner reception area at 5:30 pm. 

At 6:30pm dinner will be served and there will be a Retreat-opening presentation from your host Laura McKenna.

DAY 2: First day of the Elevate Retreat!

First thing on Saturday morning there is an optional morning 6:30 am - 7: 30 am yoga available on-site.

 

Starting at 8:00 am we have the morning welcome with chocolate-covered strawberries and mimosas to celebrate the start of the day! Yum!

At 9:00 am - Start of Retreat Speaker sessions:

  • 9:00 am: Strength & Shield Coaching – Laura McKenna: Overcoming the Trifecta of Tired
  • 10:15 am: Rikki Smith - The Terrible Toos: Overcoming Negative B.S.

The Saturday lunch starts at 11:30 am and goes until 12:30 pm. There will be opportunities for a session or two of a Portrait Photography opportunity with Odd Fox Photography with Gabby Wallace.

 

The Saturday afternoon Speaker sessions begin 12:30pm.

  • 12:30pm: Stephanie Lueras - Movement, Mindset, and Momentum
  • 1:45pm: Debbie Ternes - Creating Authentic Friendships

At 3:00 pm there will be more Portrait Photography opportunities. Then between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm activities of your choice will available! 

 

Activities – hiking, spa appts, Pink Jeep tours, relaxation by the pool and more! Bookings and a full list of available activities will be made available late November.

The Saturday evening is when we host our semi-formal gala!

The formal portion of the retreat ends with a closing discussion of living elevated. Sunday afternoon and evening are entirely yours!  Reflect and journal. Enjoy Sedona's eclectic foodie restaurants for lunch and dinner. Hike in the breathtaking red rocks. Go on an adventure, such as the Pink Jeep Tour. Enjoy a spa appointment. Go shopping in Sedona. Sit by the pool with friends you’ve made at the event. Or just do nothing! Rest, relax, have fun.

As a speaker, body-positive ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Stephanie breaks down the barriers in achieving fitness, wellness, and accountability goals—no matter the starting point. She acknowledges that we all have “life” that gets in the way—schedules, work, kids, energy levels, finances, health, ability, interest, and so many other reasons that hold us back from being our best selves.  

At the retreat, she will share insights into how you can get to where you want to be in your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual life. 

This is Stephanie’s passion – she IS her brand.  She became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist out of her own desire to understand the human body, the relationship between habits and physical training, and the impact that endurance fueling and everyday nutrition has on her own body in her own athletic pursuits. In her own life, she has lost over 200lbs through balanced nutrition and endurance sports – not through restrictive diets or other means of drastic weight loss.

Sharon founded Blue Compass Life, born out of her desire to use her experience in the corporate world within a broader whole-life context, specifically working with women to help them live lives inspired by what truly matters. Raised in a military family, moving around the country – and the world – was part of life for Rikki.  Meeting new people, making fast friends, and embracing different cultures filled her with a love for adventure, travel, and

As a speaker, body-positive ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Stephanie breaks down the barriers in achieving fitness, wellness, and accountability goals—no matter the starting point. She acknowledges that we all have “life” that gets in the way—schedules, work, kids, energy levels, finances, health, ability, interest, and so many other reasons that hold us back from being our best selves.  

At the retreat, she will share insights into how you can get to where you want to be in your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual life. 

This is Stephanie’s passion – she IS her brand.  She became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist out of her own desire to understand the human body, the relationship between habits and physical training, and the impact that endurance fueling and everyday nutrition has on her own body in her own athletic pursuits. In her own life, she has lost over 200lbs through balanced nutrition and endurance sports – not through restrictive diets or other means of drastic weight loss. 

Stephanie believes deeply in a holistic pursuit of balance where we strive for physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness to be our best selves possible. She combines being totally motivating and energetic with being down-to-earth and real.  You’ll love her!
